I think so too! These vines seem to be dead now. If they're going to invade, I think they'll need to try a little harder. ; )

OTOH, there's a great patch of I. quamoclit behind our shed and IDK if it's surviving or returning from seed. I don't go back there very often. That's west-facing so it has worked well throwing seeds there to get it started since that spot is in the shade until noon. I had to get into the roadside rough to get those seeds.
