So I planted some cucumber and tomato plants today. Curious, does the bird or deer netting prevent bee pollination? I don't want to screw up this season! Thanks all.....

Bird and deer netting shouldn't prevent pollination. As long as the bees and other insects can fit thru the holes in the netting they will be able to reach the blossoms and pollinate. I keep my raspberries covered with 1" bird netting and I still get lots of fruit.

Lovely planters by the way.

If it's the typical bird netting which is about 1 inch square openings, they're shouldn't be any less pollination.
I've read that from many experts.
I've used bird netting over strawberries and the fruit set was very good.
