Hello all! I haven't posted here since July of 2020 but once again I am looking for advice.
I bought a variegated monstera propagation with one leaf, a node, and a nice root in July 2020. I followed the direction of the knowledgeable folks here with soil mixture and patience and almost a year later I have a new leaf and a really really happy root system (I think the poster's name was Gina? She knows what she's talking about when it comes to soil).
There's only one problem...or maybe one problem...
The leaf that has popped out has a whole bunch of white on it and I know that's not really beneficial to the plant. The original leaf on the node had great variegation and not so much white in the stem and here I am so many months later and I have an axillary bud (I think) with a heavily white stem and not so much green. Should I be concerned about the plant going full albo? Should I consider chopping this new leaf at a node? And if so where?
And of course one final question, the pot I currently have the plant in is getting a little cramped for the root system (it's starting to wrap around the inside) and as such I was thinking of upsizing. If I would need to cut would it be wise to wait before repotting?
Thanks in advance!
