It appears a pollinator may have found my Anthuriums, as it looks like I have a couple berries cropping up.

Is there a particular way to go about removing them, and when is the best time?
Do they need any special treatment before sowing?

Figure it might be worth putting them in pots to see what happens. Smiling

Is this an Andreanum? You have to let the berries develop. They turn into little sacs like pomegranate seeds. When you can run your fingers over them and they just fall off, they are ready to be popped and sown. This takes an indeterminate amount of time depending on the species of Anthurium. for example, anything with clarinervium ancestry can take 8 months to over a year to reach ripeness. Just monitor it right now, and keep us posted!

Yes. One's an Andreanum, the other is on that one with the huge flowers I got recently.

I'll keep an eye on them. Hopefully I can get a couple of seeds to try growing. Smiling

Did you pollinate this cross yourself?

Nope. I've been watching for pollen and signs of receptive flowers to try it out, but hadn't spotted anything. Life's been a little chaotic lately though, so looks like I missed it.
Wondering if an insect got in the house and was working on them for a while. Not sure if these two crossed, or if they might have been pollinated with pollen from one of my others.
