Thread OP

Hi all,

I purchased a Monstera Albo single node cutting with an aerial root back in January, and have been babying it all winter. It's in a propagation dome on sphagnum moss, kept damp @ 80 degrees on a heat mat with plenty of light all the time. I mist it every day and do air exchange. There's no "rot"' anywhere on the node itself, but the end of aerial node came sort of deflated/dead - and I just left it. It looks like there were some little root shoots that have dried out - and I'm just not sure what to do with it at this point.

There is a bump where a leaf is trying to grow - but I have no real root system to support it - so I am a bit worried about it not really being able to support itself moving forward.

What I did today is put some Clonex gel in a couple spots along the aerial root and 1 spot on the node in the hopes that the hormone will get inside (I'm too nervous to cut it right now...), and also sprayed it with Clonex Clone Solution (Nutrient Support) in the hopes that some of the stuff will de-stress and make it a bit happier than just water + humidity.

I'm attaching some pictures and would appreciate any advice! I know these things are slow, but I want to make sure I'm doing everything I can to help it succeed:
