This hybrid cross was made years ago by the Rotolantes at Silver Krome Nursery down in South FL. Its an easy grower, but is a cross between 2 very disparate parents. It readily sets its own seed. I planted a crop last season and they are getting some size now and I am seeing a LOT of variation. These are the parents.
Anthurium clarinervium is the ovule parent (the female plant in this cross)
Anthurium faustomirandae (the huge heart shaped leaf) is the pollen parent (the male)
This is my 'personal' specimen, my parent (other people with this cross have plants that look vastly different)
These are a couple of the seedlings so far. These all came from the same crop of seeds harvested at the same time. I will take some additional photos of others later. There is long and skinny
Heart shaped
These 2 alone will be vastly different in their adult look
