@scvirginia - it may have started out as a plant similar to what you posted but the bees have been busy on these very tall bushes. There are patches of pure white flowers, patches of fuchsia blooms, and loads of mixed with one side white the other side fuchsia. This year the pink/white won. They have been there since way before I moved here. Probably planted 30+ years ago.

Lestv said:@scvirginia - It may have been planned decades ago, but the past two owners of that house have done nothing to contain it. It is a leggy mess in need of pruning. The different patches of color came from the bees. The house used to have white azaleas under the front windows and a fuchsia bush as well. The latest owner, who leaves it up to her daddy to come work on things (she always talks other people into mowing her yard). He butchered the white bushes and the fuchsia is gone. He also pulled out 3 mature camelias so I am not fond of his gardening attempts.
