Looks to me like Nikolai Rubtsov. It is hard to tell just from one picture.

I wonder if it could be Pink Champagne Clematis? The name rings a bell. Blooms are about 6" and it has already grown to at least 5' this season.

It does seem to resemble Clematis 'Pink Champagne'

This is Kakio aka Pink Champagne, group 2 Clematis 'Pink Champagne'
Clematis 'Ville de Lyon' has more round form and smaller flower size. It belongs to viticella group 3 and starts flowering much later.

This is also the answer for Susan. Her clematis is not Pink Champagne. Pink Champagne has some blue tint. Kakio has a pure pink sibling Asao ( the same cross). Clematis 'Asao' has no blue tint but the texture of the petals is smooth, not like your picture. Nikolai Rubtsov is a very good candidate Clematis 'Nikolai Rubtsov'. I have all 3 in my collection. The only doubts I have about Nikolai Rubtsov it's not widely sold. I found it only at Brushwood nursery.

Thanks Luda. The first place I looked up Nikolai Rubtsov said it had a 3" bloom, but Brushwood says 6" which this is. I did order 3 from Brushwood a few years ago and thought I had lost all of them, but this one must have survived and is blooming for the first time this year. Thanks for your help!
