I wanted to mount different types of epiphytes on unglazed ceramic pots just like what is commonly done with orchids, has anyone tried (and have success) with mounting ferns and bromeliads in such ways ?
Any kind of advice is appreciated :)
I have mounted Rhipsalis ( jungle cactus ) on Cedar board with sphagnum moss and so far so good. I soak in water with a few drops of houseplant fertilizer every couple weeks and it seems to be doing well. I am planning to try staghorn fern next.
