Hello, we recently had an existing walkway refinished and as you can see in the image it is ~4 inches above the lawn. I want to put shrubs in front of it. My question is should I raise the yard to the level of the walkway or just plant the shrubs in front at the current level. Also, would anyone have a suggestion for what shrub would look good to go in front of the path? I tip my hat to you.
