Hello all,

I'm struggling to come up with ideas of what to do in this specific area of my backyard in between the wall and a paved area, was going to plant some wildflowers mix but that seems a bit boring...
I was thinking-wanting of some sort of mansory in the middle, something that resembles or serves as a table when needed, then plant some flowers around it... (ALL IDEAS ARE WELCOME, I'm not to creative when it comes to gardening).
I'll share some pictures so you can have some visuals (those measurements are inches), I'm no expert but i just did that tree circle (not a circle) following a YouTube tutorial, I'm thinking of doing something similar for that other tree that follows the area being questioned.
Btw, I'm trying to do it myself, gardeners are expensive in my area.
Thank you in advance!

According to my digital compass If I'm facing the wall is 354° N, if I'm facing the opposite wall is 270 W.
I have 2 big trees surrounding that area but it still gets enough light at least in spring and summer. I'm in NJ btw...

Look at these picture, taken at 9:44 am, the earlier the better when it comes to sun light

nature keeps amazing me
not knowing how large your garden area is I would say to do the same tree "circle" around the other tree-if thats possible for you. then assuming the brick work is a seating area get something to mimic the height of the trees like a flowering vine. if there isn't a lot of direct sun beating down on that space go with shade lovers. maybe some ferns that can take dappled sun/shade, hostas{they only want morning sun},spring blooming astilbes, pulmonaria. the list is endless. if this strip gets too much sun for shade lovers repeat what you have under your tree. if you can do the other tree "circle" it will give your garden a more cohesive feel. hopefully the soil there is decent enough for planting anything you want. it looks like a charming space to work with. cozy. hope I've been a bit helpful. looking at the grand scheme of things can seem daunting. just take it one step at a time. the tree "circle' came out great. Hurray!
