I grew some beet seeds from 2001 last summer. I planted the entire package because I didn't think they would germinate. I kept my friends in beets all summer. Hilarious!

Keep us posted on your little plant.

Lucky you! I planted some 7 y.o. curled parsley seeds that were all duds. Had to go buy some more seeds and start again.

So far 3 lupine are growing slowly. Perhaps being a desert lupine seed dormancy is longer than typical plants.

Hubby found some radish sprout seeds in the barn. They were dated 2014.

On the left, new radish sprouts and on the right, 2014 radish sprouts. Same amount of seed (1 level tablespoon) in the little pot and started at the same time. Glad I wasn't relying on those 2014 seeds for my salad greens.

But hey, they sprouted! Seed lasts longer than the labels say on packets!

That's true. And they're also the same size as the fresh seed plants.

Thats pretty amazing. I had some dill sprout last year that were 10-12 years old. I figured they wouldn't sprout at all but most did sprout.
