Hi JimPanse, Welcome! to the forum!

I'd never heard of a Philodendron cultivar 'Caramel Marble' so I did a google search and it sure is a beautiful cultivar, hopefully the variegation remains stable! I found one site that says it's the most sought after Philo. in the world and WOW is it ever pricey! $$$$$$$ It's selling on different etsy sites with prices from $400 to almost $9,500!!! Blinking

Your might want to change your profile to show what part of the world you are located. We have members here from all around the globe and it's helpful for those trading and selling plants, to have an idea of what might be required for shipping to your location. Be aware also that when trading or selling plant material internationally, there will likely be import/export certification forms and costly phytosanitary certificates required.

Good luck in your search for that beauty and if you find one, please share a photo and keep us updated on how the plant progresses for you!

Hello Jim, I wish you find that caramel marble, It is indeed a great plant, and as far as I know, very stable variegation, you do get few plain brown leaves, but all the cuttings I ever made I have never got any reverted one to a totally plain brown "Pluto".
I wish I can help you, but I can't sent living plants abroad although I really do wants to for trade with other gardener from another country
and just want to say, I don't think there are seeds for this one, not even seed for Philodendron "Pluto", the non variegated one and if anyone offer you a seed of a hybrid Philodendron, let alone a variegated one,.... I really wish you will abort the option, your only option is a cutting

I wish you a good luck...
and just to encourage you... I wish to send a picture of mine

Yes, good luck. You might have a chance if you lived in the USA, but, with the current climate of extremely GREEDY sellers, you would have to pay a large sum. Most people would not trade that unless it was for something like a Philo spiritus-sancti or something on that par

Caramel marble is a self heading type philodendron growing in to rosette form, not a climbing type one, but it does climb if grown next to a pole or a tree. It is a mutant form of Philodendron Pluto.
All philodendrons pure species and hybrids will flowers, but not all hybrids will set seeds
I don't know if Pluto or Caramel marble are fertile hybrids or are they sterile, some hybrids plants are sterile, but some are fertile.
My plants in that picture is two years olds, got it as a small plant two tiny leaves two years ago, been cut and have few small plants that I trade with other hobbyist within my country.

Jim I don't think there are a lot of international traders here on this particular gardening site.
