If the leaf cuttings were already taken, can another leaf pop out of another spot?

Hard to tell. All you can do is put it into some moss and wait and see. I myself would never buy these stem cuttings which are now being referred to as 'chunks' (silly name IMO) but people are selling them for hundreds of dollars depending on species, and people do buy them. I only try and resprout them if they are on a plant I buy. I have a Warocqueanum stem I am seeing if it will put out new growth at the moment, since I removed the plant from it. It has what looks like good roots, so you may be able to get something from it again.

Plants are different, some produce many new growths, some don;t. Also, this one may have been used as a true stock plant and each new plant already removed. So, its hard to tell
