This is the first year that I've actually watched for the bloom cycle of my garden. The red Japanese Maple leafed out first, followed by the Azaleas. Then the Irises came on beautifully! They were followed by the Gardenias. My plan is to add a white 'Iceberg' rose between the two white Azaleas and in front of the Euonymus, three Queen Elizabeth roses in the center island, two 'America' climbing roses on the arbor to the right, for starters.
