Thanks Sherri! I also got this one to bloom...Calathea binotii...totally different genera, but isn't it weird how they kinda look alike?

@ardesia, when my etlingeras bloom is a favorite time for me. I have a Pink Torch too, it should be in bloom soon, and a tulip torch, Etlingera hemisphaerica, shown here. I have another tulip torch that is not bloom sized yet.

Its on a few of them. Some don;t have the yellow, another interesting one (google) is E. venusta 'Malay Rose'. Looks just like a rose
