thank you Steve...I am thinking that the coloring may become more pronounced over the summer and point me in the right direction. But I'm pretty sure that your suggestions are correct and that it is one of the two (both of which are gorgeous!)

I very nearly put Romeo in the mix but I think the plant in the OP had a little too much green Thumbs up As you say time will tell

There are a lot of red / pink cv names that are hard to tell apart. The usual mix of marketing and gimmick which I regularly fall for on aloes
Here is a plant I bought as 'Taurus' but I have since read that this and Romeo are different names for the same plant.


This plant has been through the wars I melted a side of it one year trying to give it outside sun too quickly . Cut down to just a few leaves on the crown and it has bounced back Thumbs up
