Thread OP

Has anyone here ever grown lithops successfully indoors? I'm having a hard time telling if newly bought ones are about to start the growing cycle (start water) or about to go into dormancy (stop water), since they both look the same.

They are going dormant. Summer is dormant season.

I've been growing mine indoors successfully. I've never watered them once though. Still waiting for the right time. But I had one flower months ago, and they're currently actively splitting. Smiling

They seem happy in my windowsill.

I think I'm getting the hang of this. Using almost 100% coarse sand exclusively. Currently, I water every two weeks except when splitting or if they look too fat. If they get wrinkly, I water them no more than once a week and they recover. So far nothing has died.
