Wasn't sure where to post this, so here goes! I am lucky in that there is an organic farm about 30 minutes from me and they also have a store front. I buy my chicken feed and scratch there as well as occasional amendments for the garden. They sell Thorvin kelp by the pound or by the 40lb bag, so I bought a pound to give it a try - sprinkling a pinch on the hen's food and also to make a slurry to dilute as I need it for the garden just to experiment - the garden part was suggested by the person working the counter, that's how she uses it. She scoops a cup and places it into a 5 gallon mason jar to make the slurry, then she uses it diluted to water veggies she has growing in fabric pots. I was wondering if anyone here uses it - for livestock or plants - and if so how? I have read where some use it as a foliar spray every few months. Just trying to see if anyone uses it. Many thanks!
Give me land, lots of land, under starry skies above. Don't fence me in.
