Succulent newbie here.
I found this Cheyenne peacockii pulidonis at a big box store and fell hard and fast. It was in a variety bucket of succulents. Yes - BBS = mealybugs. I have treated and (fingers crossed) gotten on top of that issue...... but ever since I put this in its new pot - the flowering shoots (dunno what they're actually called) seem to be drunk and/or lost. Every time I go out to check on them, they're growing in a different direction. LOL Is this normal???? (the last picture was what it looked like when I got it)

The end state is usually something approaching a shepherd's crook, but they do sometimes wander a bit on their way there.

E. lutea on the patio insists on going sideways at the moment.

I do usually take a moment to do a close inspection for bugs whenever an inflorescence is crooked or otherwise deformed. Sometimes they grow naturally that way but other times it's a response to injury. Were there bugs on the inflorescence when you got the plant?

Welcome!

No, I did not find any evidence of infestation on this plant. The bugs were on another succulent in the same pot, though. That is why I separated everything, treated each plan indivdually for a couple of days and then repotted in fresh soil.
