Sundrops
'Prairie Lode' sundrops: Oenothera serrulata subsp. serrulata or Calylophus serrulatus. I'm not sure which is the current scientific name, but either way it is a nice low-growing plant for dry locations.

Great banner Laurie!

What a pretty yellow flower & banner, Laurie.
It really catches your eye.
Do you have a pic of the whole
plant?
https://davesgarden.com/guides...
It looks similar to a pink one we have in our garden
that's very drought tolerant, and blooms freely.
Learn and/or create something every day.

Here is a cropped version of the original.
Took this several years ago. Unfortunately, the plants eventually disappeared. Possibly had too much moisture: my climate may be too wet for them.

Thanks for the acorn, Cal! And sweet comments from you, Rj and Fleur.
Appreciate the thumbs up from everyone, too!
