This plant grows so fast, I've already had to trim a few several times and guide stems in other directions, trying to grow over top of other plants. Is that what you've seen? If one needs to cover a lot of ground quickly, this plant can definitely do that. I haven't gotten around to putting any in mostly sun yet. Have you?

I did grow that one and Trailing Plum Brocade. I don't have a good picture of how big they both got. These photos don't show the whole plant. They were in sun.

I would test it first since you are in Alabama. Your full sun and my full sun aren't the same.

TY! I will. For some reason, somebody thought people would need 6 of these BWT, that's how I saw it - in a 6-pack. I love it but I have trouble with spacing every year, and this year it's with BWT. In some places, I'm hacking chunks of it off of other plants. About out of places to stick more at this point, except in more sun. I should put a bunch in a hanging pot too.

They don't even sell 6 packs around here anymore. Flats in general have become less common. Plants are sold in pots now.

I'm seeing that trend too, mostly bigger, more expensive plants. This wasn't an old-school 6-pack of plug size plants, but it had a handle, and each section was around 2.5" cube. I also got some other Coleus in this type of 6-pack "pot."

I took a pic of 1 this morning. It would be 2x as big if I hadn't been chopping off stems.

Yeah, that is how mine grew. I get many of my coleus from the local greenhouse. They have a roadside stand and sell them nicely grown and full in different sized pots, much better than what comes into the other nurseries. If you look at the base, they are multiple cuttings anyway.

Your roadside stand sounds awesome! One time since moving to AL I saw a guy selling plants roadside. He had bananas & Crinums. That was around 8 yrs ago & I still have both. That was great!

I lost my BWT a couple of years ago and haven't found it locally since. This summer I bought a geranium hanging basket with Great Falls 'iguazu' in it. It looks similar but doesn't drape as much. It is in the middle of this picture.
