I was thinking they might need a cold spell, in warm climates there is not a good cold spell. Sometimes people force bulbs by putting them into the refrigerator. I have never put any into the freezer, I would if I had a thermometer and I could make sure it was maybe 10°F or something like that. Zone 6 is pretty cold and they seem to like you! nodding

Here is the paper that I did my reading on. It is specific to South Florida so not sure that it will apply to the rest. http://miami-dade.ifas.ufl.edu...

I will take 3 each of Z. aethiopica, Green Goddess and Diva Maria.

Thanks, Rolando, that is a good article! I see now. If you want to grow the colored callas you grow them in the fall, then dig and store in the summer, just opposite of us northerners, who grow in spring and store in winter.

I'll send you a treemail with your total, but please send me a treemail (by clicking on my name, Lakesidecallas, on this post) with your name, address, phone, email, and method of payment.

A bit of a delay in shipping due to unexpected but enjoyable house guests over the Easter Weekend.

All boxes except for those being held for warmer weather went in the mail Tues and Wed. If you gave me an email address with your info, you received a tracking number from USPS.

The next order will go in to Pacific Callas sometimes this week, April 8-12

Arisaema, Aukland, Captain Prado, Rubylite Rose, Golden Chalice

Since there haven't been new orders in a while,

The co-op will close April 12 and I'll be sending in the second order then. If you need to pay later just let me know and I can order your bulbs and hold them until you pay.

Thanks for everyone's participation! I can't wait to see the new colors.

I just have them in my basement until you are ready to have them mailed. Do you want me to mail them now? It's probably warm enough.

All orders have been mailed except Kamikid's, who I can't get a hold of.

I do have extra bulbs, so I'll list those later.

I don't know with the Aethiopica types or your area. It seems they have a mind of their own.
Last year I didn't plant mine until almost June, and they never grew until the end of summer. This year they ran out of bulbs so I don't get to plant any!
