I have a very healthy passion vine growing in my greenhouse but am not sure if and when it is actually going to bloom. I photographed this new growth on the vine this morning...is it a bud? Or more leaves?
Am new to growing this plant, so...

Did it ever bloom?

Hey Cody, what you are seeing appears to be a side shoot of a vine.
Do you know the variety of Passiflora you have?

Here is a couple photos of our buds.

It is my understanding that buds will only appear on new growth. We
are south of you if you would like to stop in.

yes, it did bloom and is beautiful, though the flowers are smaller (about 3-4" across) than I'd imagined...maybe because it's in a pot or in the greenhouse or???
The plant is Passiflora edulis 'Frederick'.
It's the first passion vine I've ever grown so am happy with it's health and beauty Thumbs up
