Hola! Would y'all help me identify plants in our new gardens, por favor? I have some ideas below that I would love help with. I will post successive entries. (There are so many to identify!)
1. Squarrose, weed
2. Johnny jump up, weed
3. Cranesbill geranium, weed
4. Sedum, not a weed
Name: Daisy I Reno, Nv (Zone 6b) Not all who wander are lost
I wouldn't consider any of them weeds. I planted all of them in my garden.

The plant usually called Squarrosa is Centaurea virgata

Knapweed is considered to be a noxious weed out west... And we call it perennial bachelor's button here when we plant it in the flower bed... Unfortunately... it seldom increases...
And... people buy entire flats of Johnny jump-ups...
And... that looks like a perennial geranium, also desirable here...
As far as the sedum... what makes it desirable? I pulled nearly a wheelbarrow full of the stuff a couple weeks ago... to make a bit of room for munchies... Don't really need a ground cover in the veggie patch...
