Hi can you please tell what type of pine needle trew this came from ?
I'm looking to make make pine needle tea and want to make sure this is not a toxic variety.
If someone could tell me what pine needle tree this is, It be very appreciated.

I don't think that is a pine at all, the needle arrangement is different. It may be a larch (Larix) or something I'm not familiar with.

Regular people will call them "pine" needles, but that is not a real pine. Not all evergreens with needles are pines. They can be spruces, firs, yews, etc. Yours looks like a type of true cedar (Cedrus species) or a larch (Larix). If the tree is evergreen through the winter, it's probably a cedar. If the needles drop in the fall, it is a larch. I don't know if they are edible. Good think you didn't try them yet! You are smart to get a positive ID first. Thumbs up

Or a true cedar - Cedrus.
If so, not really a great flavor (flavour).
