Thread OP

I'm pretty new at caring for succulents and I'm fighting my first mealybug infestation on my elephant bush- unfortunately I can clearly see and pick off the bugs so it's pretty far along. I was wondering if these damages are related to the mealybugs, if they're natural, or if there is another pest that I should treat for. Im also wondering if these leaves/stems should be cut off. Thank you!
