I have been trying to get an ID on this little pup for a while now. Do you think 'firecracker' is a possibility . My pup looks closer to the plant joy recently uploaded to the DB. Mine could be a hybrid of it I guess Smiling

That's really nice! It does look similar.

It is similar, but yours has fewer bumps, and the underlying leaf color is bluer than hers or mine. I'm thinking it might be 'Wrasse'.

Are we sure the plant in the original photo is 'Firecracker' and not 'Delta Dawn'? I don't know enough about these plants to know the difference.

My thoughts exactly...

The plant isn't mine. I was given permission to post the photos to the database from an online nursery.

I'd like to ask the aloe aficionados here if maybe we should move the image to the genus entry (given some uncertainty about the ID). I don't know enough about the two plants in question to confirm or deny the original identification. Rose, do you have an opinion on this? Thijs?

To me many of these look too much like each other that once the ID is in doubt you can get no better than ball park, but if the nursery had this positively ID'd... but had they?
