Common propagation methods of succulents

1. Sowing propagation

Prepare the pot soil for cultivating the seeds, then sow the Succulents seeds into the pot, cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil, and then pour an appropriate amount of water, and place them in a cool and ventilated place to wait for germination. If the environment is not suitable, you can also use plastic film to seal the pot soil to keep it warm and moisturize it to promote seed germination. Generally, it will take 1 to 2 weeks to take root and germinate.

2. Cutting propagation

There are many cutting methods, generally leaf cutting, stem cutting and root cutting. Except for the different cutting positions, the methods are similar. After removing the roots, stems and leaves of the plant, place them in a cool and ventilated place to dry. Dry the wound and insert soil . After 3 to 4 weeks, it will be able to take root and grow leaves.

3. Separate plant propagation

Some succulents can produce many small plants in groups. These plants can be dug out from the soil and planted in new potting soil. Since the plant has its own root system, it can easily survive, adapt to the new environment in a week, and begin to grow.
