I have a couple new 'Navajo' blackberry plants in 8" containers. Can they be planted now (early Sep)? Should I wait until spring? If I wait until spring, what do I do with the plants until then? These were root plug starter plants that have only been in the containers for about two weeks.

I'd leave them in the pots over the winter in an unheated garage, & start them outside in the spring.....
