Does anybody know of a place to get Poppies in the fall that might not be a big online place that advertises on google? Also, does anyone know a company that will ship on demand in the spring? Most places look at our frostfree date and ship in early June. I want perennials earlier than that. A May frost isn't going to hurt hardy plants that are either in the ground or in a shipping box. A June heatwave is more likely to kill things than a May frost.

FYI. Our friends at Bluestone have thirteen variety of poppies for sale. Page sixty six and seven in the catalog. Of course if you are not fortunate Rolling on the floor laughing to have a catalog on hand, you can always go to their website @ bluestoneperennials.com. I have at least five on my must have list.
