Got some cuttings from my brothers plants that were out of control. It's borderline if I try to start them now but will go for it. I have 6 to 8 weeks left in growing cycle in San Diego. I think I can make it. Their real healthy and calloused over. Any ideas on how I can make it work would be appreciated. I have a good idea on what to do but would love some feedback.😎

This late, I have started rooting mine using just a mixture of sand and perlite. I just mist them so they won't rot.

Do you pot them or just keep them going until spring when they will take off. I have 6 to 8 weeks to try to get them to root. If they show signs of rooting then they should make it.
If they don't then hopefully they will show signs of growth next spring.
I don't like to lose any plants.😎

I don't plant them deeply because it is raining here so there's not enough bottom heat. If you have 6 hours s of sun and a place where you can put the pot to get bottom heat, I think you can pot them like normal. But just hold off on too much water. The soil when kept moist is better than "wet". I also mix water and hydrogen peroxide on my "mister" to prevent rot.

I am like you, I feel bad when I loose plants.
