Last year I bought: a PowerKing...

5 in. 14 HP Gas Powered Commercial Chipper Shredder Kit with Heavy-Duty Tires, Wheel Extension Set, & XL Trailer Hitch.

The 5 in. in the description refers to the maximum diameter branch that it will demolish. It is not as large as some of the power companies tree chippers, but it is not your father's chipper:) I have been cleaning up some of the old shrubs in the yard this fall. It does an amazing job. In the past, I have owned some 5 HP units that are only good for small jobs. The PowerKing accepts good sized branches and once started auto feeds them in the chipper. My unit does not have electric start, but I am really impressed with a one pull start even after the machine has been sitting for a few weeks or more. A couple of weeks ago I did manage to jam the chipper with a very large branch that was probably 12 feet long with lots of foliage. Clearing the jam took about 15 minutes. With really long branches, I now hold the branch from auto feeding the entire branch.

This is a great tool. I used to trim trees and shrubs and collect the orts in a big pile out by the road ( I am in the country on a dirt road). Then once a year, usually in the winter, I would burn. I think this is a much better way...

My favorite garden tools (besides my rototiller) are my Wolf garden tools. I have bought a dozen of the accessories and two storage racks that I've got attached in the garage. One of the stranger tools they offer is a row and furrow hand tool. I bought it out of curiosity and now it is one of my favorite tools in my collection. They are well made tools, I've never broke one and I use them regularly. They've got a wide selection of tool types. If you have one of the old "Scott's" brand hand tools, the Wolf tools are compatible with them. https://wolfgarten.us/

I agree about the Wolf-Garten tools, they are absolutely my favorites. Being able to change handles on any of them makes them so versatile. I've also got the longer poles and window cleaning attachments and to clean gutters.

My latest favorite tool is the blade I found to remove grass. I was dreading having to remove the grass from a 60' x 2.5' wide area in my back yard, but I really wanted to plant perennials along the fence. One of the areas I'd have to work around existing hydrangeas and didn't know how to get around them without damaging them. I tried with various shovels and it was back breaking and so slow. And then I found this magic tool that let's you work even close to existing plants without harming them. You just slice it into the ground and it pulls the grass up. I told my neighbor I was in love with a tool, he tried for a big area to remove grass that he was putting off, and he ended up ordering one of his own after that.

I was going to be happy if I cleared 1' a day trying to use shovels or other hand tools. I finished the 60' in 2.5 days and it was easy work. This is the blade, it just seems to grab the grass roots easily somehow. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MA0I97V/
