It is a Pot Marigold (Calendula officionalis). The flowers are edible

All of the foliage in the pic looks like Marigold (Tagetes).

The top flower does look like a Tagetes, so perhaps the Calendula below it was stripped of leaves?

If you look closely there is both a tagetes and a calendula flower in the pot.

Look at the top left of the pic.

I see both blooms, but I don't see any foliage that looks like it belongs to Calendula. There are probably other kinds of that than the 1 I had a few times a long time ago.

As @sooby suggested, perhaps the calendula leaves were ripped off or they are just not visible. IDK.

Sure, I don't disagree that that is possible. IDK either but it's interesting! The Calendula bloom looks like it's floating in the air, obviously an illusion due to the lack of a third dimension in the pic and missing context of seeing the whole of the plants. Those who have an opinion about the bloom so far seem to agree on Calendula. I don't have an opinion of the bloom one way or the other, beyond thinking it's not a Marigold. Maybe Tim can provide more info, maybe another pic showing the whole pot? Tim, you are not required to satisfy anyone's curiosity, but it would be fun for us. ; )

@MRTIM22, show us the leaves attached to the orange flower.

Look like calendula leaves to me but why did you pick them off the plant and then show them all bunched up?
