Hello all,

I've been spending a lot of time planning out my landscape, peony colors, complimentary plants etc. I'd like to add a burgundy peony. Preferably a tree peony because all of my peonies are herbaceous with the exception of one itoh. Can anyone recommend me a good true burgundy peony. Not a pink or purple magenta hue more of a true burgundy. I realize I may have to wait until next year to purchase but I'm ok with that. Any recommendation is appreciated.

Thanks,
R. Rizzo

Black Panther is a really dark burgundy semi-double blooming tree peony. Blooms reliably and isn't fussy.

I have Iphigenia, it's dark maroon.
