Hi,

This Gardenia was thriving and the leaves were dark green and doing great. I had left my parents' place and my mom took care of it. The gardenia might have been exposed to really high temperatures and not enough watering. My mom tried really hard to care for it and wanted to be safe with not overwatering which might have done the opposite.
The first photo is the gardenia now, the second and third was before.

How do you recommend we revive this gardenia and is it too late?

Hi & welcome! So sorry that happened. One way to find out, water it well and see if it grows any new leaves.

The soil looks pretty moist already.

Agree. I was assuming it has just been watered before the "now" pic was taken and Carl was wondering if folks had any other tricks or advice to share. Hopefully it didn't get so dry that the roots were killed.
