So i was given some soil for okra... and then random green stems/leaves started popping up.. I was thinking it may be garlic but what makes me doubt it is that the tips of the stems aren't breaking off into several mini branches. Any ideas?
Crush a leaf and smell it. Does it smell like garlic or onion? If neither then dig into the soil and see what bulbs they may be growing from. Could be daffodils or hyanciths also.

Did you break a leaf and smell it? Garlic or onion would have a pretty noticeable smell. Did you notice bulbs in the soil or did it come with the pot as a package deal? You have something else coming up too, maybe nasturtiums.
