I think most don't realize (like me) that these are easy to grow from seeds. I let 7 years of seedpods of my MD Addie just float away but most I gave away. Didn't realize how easy they are to grow.

selling on ebay has taught me a thing or two about shipping .... all of it can be done online ....can even schedule a postal pick-up ...never have to leave home

adenium couldn't be easier to start ..... sand in peat pot, barely cover seed with sand .... add water...keep moist....add warmth of sun and in less than 5 days have seedling plants

how easy they are to grow from seeds. I am trying to catch up on 7 years that I didn't grow my desert rose seeds. I sowed 38 seeds on Sat and now they are starting to sprout.

I still have some seeds I plan to sow in springs and 3 large seedpods that will ripen in December/January. I will be changing my name to Gigi Adenium soon

@deepsouth, is it too late now to sow any seeds? This week we will have low 50's and high 70s for the next 3 days, then back to low 60s and high 80s. The same pattern the next week.

I have a feeling this will be the pattern in the next few weeks until maybe January when it gets cold.

It is for me ....brought plants in Monday, because of lows dropping into the 30's ....

50's is borderline keeping plants outside

adenium seeds do better started outdoors, under warm sunny conditions ... for me that means next spring

Oh wow 30's! Glad you have a big place to bring in your desert roses.

It's cold for me today plus it is a rainy day! So hopefully my seedlings are not too cold. They look fine but they are closer to the house.

And will wait until next spring to sow new seeds.
