Hi everyone! It's nice to meet all of you!

I live in West Virginia. I've never gardened before, but I just moved to a house of my own where I can finally start! I also have pet rabbits. Currently I'm researching plants that could grow and thrive where I live and especially plants I could grow for my bunnies. If anyone has any ideas I'd love to know them! Especially where I could go to start learning about gardening.

Hi BunnySwirl, Welcome!

I've never been to West Va. but a couple of families in my neighborhood are from there and still have family back there. One of my neighbors is back at their home in W. Va. right now because their daughter got married there last weekend and she's extended her vacation to visit with family.

I'm in Florida, so I probably can't offer much in the way of gardening advice for your area but we do have a MidSouth Gardening Forum which includes West Va. and other states in that part of the country. You can access the Mid South gardening forum here: https://garden.org/forums/view...

I hope you take time to browse any and all forums that you find of interest and don't hesitate to join in the conversation and ask questions. We have a great membership here on garden.org with gardeners from around the country and the world and we enjoy chatting about our favorite plants and sharing information.

Nice to meet you! I was born in Florida and have some family there and a lot of family in Georgia. I miss that area a lot but I'm happy where I am, too!

Thank you so much!! I'll definitely look into that right away. Grin
