Thread OP

Hi all, first time trying to plant a dahlia, and I'm confounded about which way to plant this tuber, which is up or down? It doesn't look like it has long leggy tubers on google images. I can't for the life of me work out where the 'eyes' might be either. Thanks so much!

Whenever I have doubt of which side is up on a dahlia tuber, I will just plant them bit shallow, barely covering the tuber, it does not really matter when they are upside down, the new shoot will find its way to the surface of the soil. it happen often with store bought tuber
The next time I dig the tuber I usually leave some stem intact to better recognize the upper side
