A friend purchased this as agave. The thinks it may be multiple pineapple. Can you help clarify. Thank you.

Doesn't resemble an Agave to me. Pineapple looks closer.

Hi!
yea, definitely a bromeliliad.
Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad. Philosophy is wondering if that means ketchup is a smoothie.

Yes, this looks like a pineapple but is it possibly a Mangave, a cross between Manfreda and Agave. Mangave is a new bigeneric hybrid I was not familiar with until another friend suggested it an hour ago.
