Thread OP

Hello everyone! So, I wanted to plant some seeds indoors because it is the winter time right now plus it is very windy here in south Texas. So, I bought some Dracula pepper seeds on amazon for about $5, retrieved some JalapeƱo seeds from the super market (.39 cents) and also started two avocado seeds $3.
I built a make shift garden on a budget. To get the most out of the 2600 lumen 5000k blue light & 2600 lumen 2500k red light, I draped aluminum foil over the top. The bulbs were about $10 a piece at Home Depot. The fixture apparatus was constructed using parts from an old standing lamp. I tied a string around the horizontal bar and anchored it to the base of the original lamp. Due to the weight of the bulbs, I anchored the cords to the bookshelf. Then, I bought a couple $1 brown extension cords to cut up and use for wiring. I used red disposable cups to start the seeds. Using a box cutter, I cut little holes in the bottom for ventilation and bottom watering. Here are some pictures. If you have any questions about how it was set up or anything else, let me know!
