Just bought this plant at the botanical garden and it has no ID.

Leaves are about 1"

One of the apps gave me a Japanese Holly that looked close.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Goodness I never knew that apps could get it so hopelessly wrong!

Radermachera sinica,....... The leaves are bipinnate, 20 to 70 cm long and 15 to 25 cm broad, divided into numerous small glossy green leaflets 2 to 4 cm long......just like your plant

While Ilex crenata ...Japanese holly has simple tiny leaves that are alternate on a twig...see below.

And yes, the apps usually give a lot of wildly disparate results.
