Hi all! 👋🏼

I just moved into a new house and I'm trying to learn my new plants and trees. 🤓🧐

What I believe to be a red mulberry tree just dropped its leaves overnight. My research tells me their leaves typically turn yellow before falling. But these leaves were not yellow and just dropped off from the tree.

My only guess as to why is because we had our first overnight freeze. And it's been very rainy and windy.

What do you think?

Thank you 🙏🏼
Chellie

(Sorry. The rotated photos drive me crazy but I can't figure out how to fix it.)

Ours do that sometimes. I wouldn't worry, Mulberries are tough.

Yup, mulberries around here do that, too, after a first hard freeze. Makes raking a big, one-time chore rather that dragging out for weeks! Thumbs up
