Hello! I have what I think it is a Bunny Ear Cactus. I noticed recently that these spots started to appear, and some what looks like corked areas. I read many blogs but I cant understand if its bugs, fungus or something else.

Some facts:
- never got watered on my hands (bought it 1.5 months ago)
- temperature dropped here from around 21c to 8c (rough start of autumn)
- its in a direct sunny location for the first 2h/3h of the day only
- these parts were actually in the shade side

Thank you my cactus friends <3

Welcome!

Are you growing your Bunny Ears inside or out? Where are you located? Can you back up and take a photo of the entire plant?

Watered once in 1 1/2 months is not enough. If your plant is outside, the coldest temperatures it can take are about what you are having right now.

Hello and Thank you for the reply Daisyl!

Im growing it inside. I'm located in Berlin, Germany. Temperatures now are of 3 celsius at night up to 11 celsius during the day.

Do you have a suspicion of what it is? Do you think is safe to put it outside for such a catctus in these low temperatures? ANd if so for how long?

Attached here is a picture of the whole plant.
Thanks so much for helping!!
