I took this picture of a tree I saw when visiting Indochine Restaurant in Wilmington, NC. My husband and I were wondering if anyone knows the name of this tree? Can anyone also identify the plant? I'm sorry but that's the only picture I have. Thank you.

The tree in the second photo is a Japanese Maple. The large plant in the first photo might be a Japanese Aralia.
