Aww, sounds cute! Do the plants get very tall? (is it self supporting, or does it need propping).

The hardy little plants get to about 8" tall and have the same firm strong stem structure as in most marigold plants. They bloom profusely during the summer season.

I love those little gem marigolds! I think they also come in a red and lemon yellow variety. A sweet banner!

What charming little flowers, and they make a great banner subject. I think I might have seen them and not known they were marigolds.
I post high resolution photos (nature, travel, and other subjects) on smugmug

Belated thanks for your comments on the banner and thumbs. The holidays seem to be rushing up faster than ever before.
