I have found that coffee, tea, and rose can all agree on one thing... water everyday.

Picture #8 is of some very old muscadine grape vines that have been overgrown by other plants.

Thank You! Thanks! I was thinking I should label them today, at least the ones I know.

I'm pretty sure 12 & 13 are Carolina Cherrylaurel and 15 is a Southern Magnolia. #14 might be Ardisia; it's been a while since I've seen it, but that's the impression I get.

#12 and #13 The edges of these leaves are toothed. From what I can find, the leaves of the Carolina Cherry Laurel have a smooth edge.

#14 Ardisia it is. Thank You!

#15 A definite possibility, though the leaves on this plant are green top and bottom. It's more plausible, though, than a random lone ficus showing up in the middle of rural Florida. My family owns the land so I'll have to check on that plant when I visit next to see how it matures.

#18 has Tradescantia fluminensis, Drymaria (bottom left), Oxalis bulbs (clover usually refers to Trifolium species, some Medicagos, but I refer to various Oxalis as clovers too - the only "keeper" as far as my opinion goes, in this pic, if this is an area where you care what is growing), a possible Viola (a 2-leaf entity in the middle), and I think some chickweed (Stellaria media) sprouts. There's something else clustered in the upper R corner that looks familiar but no name came to mind. Near the top, there are some little balls. Murdannia (doveweed)?

Fun coincidence, I was in north FL for Thanksgiving too! : )

Thank you! I'm just going to update my post with that whole list. We've always called the oxalis clover here. The horses love it and the dogs will eat it on occasion.
