Hey my philodendron is looking sad. It's leaves are dropping and the leaves aren't super vibrant and they look like a pale green. The stem is also starting to brown but the stem is still nice and healthy on the inside, but one also just split and was fully brown on the inside. Also could some one tell me the proper name for this it is a philodendron white chunks, is it variegated too?

Looks water starved to me.
How often do you water and how much per watering?
Most Philodendrons like low light levels. If I try to grow one in bright light, all the leaves turn pale and non vibrant looking.

I water about 4 cups every two weeks and it does get a good amount of sun as well. I did just water it prior to this image but I will move it to a shady area and water it a bit more and post some more pictures in about a week.

Are there holes in the bottom of that planter? If so, you need to keep adding water until it runs out of the bottom.
I have found that coffee, tea, and rose can all agree on one thing... water everyday.

Epipremnum aureum. Not a philodendron. Don;t know where you are in FL but these grow like weeds in the ground. In some places in Central and South FL they can be utterly invasive. It is almost impossible to kill one. But yours looks like it needs water. Will grow in almost any condition...full sun, part shade, full shade.

Yeah I am in Gainesville too. I have a friend who has one on an oak that has climbed up 15 or more feet, sent runners everywhere and is fully mature in its leaf form. He lives in Springtree. I decided not to plant any outdoors at my house. There is too much room for it to run here and it would likely take over trees out in the woods

Clay pots are deceiving. They hold less soil than you think by looking at the outside of it, and the layer of soil touching the whole inside gets very dry fast.
I now prefer plastic for most plants.
Plant it and they will come.
