I've had my Sansevieria for a few years now, and I think it's relatively healthy. It has consistently grown by pushing out new leaves in the summer time; however, today I noticed there's some new growth poking out at the edge of the pot. I've never seen this kind of growth before, and even stranger that it is happening during the winter season. Is this a good thing? Is there something I should do? Should I move it to a bigger pot, maybe in the spring time?

It's a new rosette growing from the rhizome.

The new shoots will grow outward from the rhizome and when they hit the edge of the pot grow upwards. It will turn into a new rosette of leaves.

The pot size you have is fine.
